GOOD  Scent can’t be explained ,it simply has to be experienced .And no one relates that experience better than the man who says :”You smell so good”.                                                                                              How scent is worn is about as complex as flowers, grasses, fixatives  ,roots  and oils that the perfumer puts into making it.                                                                                                                                                             First, choose your scent .Don’t be misled to think that one fragrance is going to turn you, the wearer, into a totally sophisticated ,sporty ,or sexy lady –IT’S NOT. You must discover something that helps you express your OWN SELF. To choose a PERFUME properly you should go to a beauty counter, take a bottle of concentrate and place a drop on the inside of each wrist.  

                                                                        BUT don’t smell it then .wait .Half an hour later smell it .Your body chemistry will spark off certain of the element in the scent ,highlighting some of the ingredients ,playing down others .That one perfume ,put on four different women  will smell differently on each.                                                                                                    So, an important lesson is : Don’t buy a perfume because it smells nice on a friend .It’s probably going to smell differently on you .Today’s movement is towards light, evergreen fragrances ,but there are many more to try ,like the rich heady perfumes for a mature woman of character.

After all the research done on the scents there are 3 main categories that I would love to share and make you aware of. First is the Floral group, it has its derivation in blossoms and is usually a blend of several Harmonious flowers. Some of the best floral perfumes are Gucci Rush by Gucci, Light blue by D & G, Romance by Ralph Lauren, Beautiful and Pleasures by Estee Lauder and so on.

Second Category is the Oriental Group , these scents are full bodied with heavy tones of musk amber and wood. Some of the best oriental perfumes are Romance by Ralph Lauren, Euphoria by Calvin Klein for Women ,Glow by Jennifer Lopez.

Third Category is the Modern Group, these scents tend to be light and floral ,citrus or fruity and best to be used to day time. Some of the best modern perfumes are Davidoff Coolwaters  ,CK by CK,White diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor.                                                                                      

When you choose a scent make sure someone else helped with the final verdict, there are lots of ways to go about buying it. You might like a tiny bottle of the concentrate .All you do is dab this scent on the warm pulse pints of the body like wrists and behind ears .Always keep the scent away from heat and sunlight. Don’t expect scents to last longer than 4 hours so always carry scent in your bag to use during the day. Scent is like your personal message and make sure you leave a beautiful and memorable one.
